Growing Mushrooms since 1965

On the green hills of Southam, situated above the famous Cheltenham racecourse and hidden by trees and hedges, organic white and chestnut mushrooms are grown by Peter Howard, Farm Manager of Chelbury Mushrooms. Peter has worked in the mushroom industry for 33 years, 17 of which have been at Haymes Farm. Today the farm at Southam grows 32 tons of handpicked organic fresh mushrooms every week. Each delicate mushroom is handpicked and carefully placed in their packaging for protection and onward distribution to the Cotswold region and South of England. We pride ourselves on our principles of offering a friendly and safe place to work and a product grown to all UK farming regulations.
